Where it works
Rainy-day videos, cafés, winter content and cosy game streams.
Building it in practice
Coziness is warmth and closeness. Soft acoustic instruments, felt piano, brushed drums, low tempos and textures such as rain or a crackling fire create a room-like feeling. Roll off the highs so nothing sounds sharp. For streams and cafes, longer tracks with steady dynamics work best, since they play for hours in the background.
