How it works

You describe the song, or paste your lyrics; Sonvela generates it. Here is what happens at each step and how to get a result you can use faster.

  1. Write a prompt

Describe the style, the voice, the instruments and what the song is about, or switch to Custom and paste your own lyrics. "An upbeat indie pop song about a road trip, warm female vocals, jangly guitars" works better than "a happy song". The prompt guide explains the method.

  2. Set genre, mood, voice and length

The controls next to the prompt add structure: pick a female, male or duet voice, or switch on Instrumental. Leave them on "Any" if your text already says it all.

  3. Generate

Sonvela generates an original song to your description, with sung vocals or as an instrumental, up to your plan’s length limit. Each press of Generate uses one song from your monthly allowance.

  4. Refine one detail at a time

Change the tempo, swap an instrument, rewrite a chorus or move the build, then generate again. Every song you made stays in My songs.

  5. Download and use

Every song downloads as a WAV file. Your licence depends on your plan; see licensing.

What to expect

Generated music is good at style, texture and mood. Exact timing requests, such as a hit at precisely 0:45, are followed approximately, so expect to nudge an edit by a beat. Very long tracks can drift; generating sections and joining them gives more control.

Where to start

Browse genres for style-specific prompts, use cases for practical advice on length and loudness, or moods if you know the feeling but not the style.
