Every plan
- Use tracks in your own videos, podcasts, streams, social posts and websites, including monetised ones.
- Keep using tracks you downloaded while subscribed, even after you cancel.
- Edit, cut, loop and mix tracks into your projects.
Creator and Studio
- Use tracks in paid advertising.
- Use tracks in work you make for clients, who may then publish it.
- Use tracks in apps and games you sell.
Studio only
- Release tracks, alone or as part of your own songs, on streaming services such as Spotify and Apple Music.
Not allowed on any plan
- Reselling or giving away tracks as stand-alone music files, sample packs or a music library.
- Registering generated tracks with Content ID or similar systems in a way that claims other people’s use of Sonvela music.
- Prompting for, or presenting tracks as, the work of a real artist, or using them to imitate a specific copyrighted recording.
- Using tracks in unlawful, hateful or deceptive content.
Ownership
Copyright in purely AI-generated audio is unsettled and differs by country; in the United States, current guidance says it is not protected without human authorship. We do not claim ownership of what you generate, and your licence lets you use it as described above. Your own additions, such as vocals, lyrics or arrangement, are yours. See can you copyright AI-generated music.
Free library tracks
Tracks in the free library are separate from your plan. They are public domain recordings under CC0 as published by their source collection, and you can use them without an account.
Claims
If a platform claims a video using a track you generated, keep your account email and generation date. Our guide on disputing Content ID claims walks through the process, and support can confirm your licence.
