CC0 (public domain dedication)

CC0 is a Creative Commons tool that lets creators waive their rights and place work in the public domain as far as the law allows.

Unlike other Creative Commons licences, CC0 asks for nothing: no attribution, no restrictions on commercial use and no share-alike requirement. Where a full waiver is not legally possible, it acts as a very permissive licence instead.

The 58 tracks in our free library are CC0 recordings. We still credit each artist on its track page because it is good practice and helps listeners find their work.

Using it in a prompt

Not a prompt term. You can use CC0 library tracks as references when writing prompts for your own generated music.
